China’s Quantum Champions and Their Closed Supply Chains
Origin Quantum, QuantumCTek and CIQTEK inside China’s state-linked quantum industrial base
China’s quantum sector cannot be assessed only through national strategies, laboratory milestones or headline claims about machines and qubits. The more important question is company-level: which Chinese quantum firms have built real industrial capacity, which parts of their business are externally visible, which parts are commercially investable, and which layers remain closed through state ownership, telecom integration, procurement dependence, export controls and limited disclosure. QuantumCTek, Origin Quantum and CIQTEK show three different forms of visibility. One is listed but strategically enclosed, one is technically visible but financially opaque, and one is best understood as a high-end instrumentation platform with quantum-sensing relevance rather than as a pure quantum-computing company.
